for our Beauty Career Exploration & Business Start Up Reentry Program.Welcome to our Fitness for Good Campaign page for our Beauty Career Exploration & Business Start Up Reentry Program that trains soon to be released and previously incarcerated young adults from Northshore, MA on a beauty skill and helps to place them in permanent jobs in the beauty industry. Over 75% of the individuals we work with in this program have mental health and addiction issues, so the success of our program – and that of our students’ future – relies on donations to fund important addiction and mental health services.
To respond to the need, we are hosting a series of charity fitness classes and events via collaborations with area gyms and fitness studios to help us raise $150,000 for our cause. All proceeds from the event series will be used to provide addiction and mental health screening and treatment for the graduates in our reentry program in Lawrence, MA.
