Business Background

Our success story is Beauty Executives Aesthetics, a 3-year-old beauty salon in Dedham, MA. The salon currently has three employees and offers non-surgical body contouring, waxing facials, and med spa services to its customers. The business was planning for an expansion just before the announcement of the pandemic and the owner consulted with TLE that she needed support during the difficult economy.

Challenges

The primary challenge for the business owner was website maintenance and rebranding. Due to lack of funds, the website that the owner was currently using at the time had to be taken down causing restrictions on associated platforms and domains. This also affected other areas of business such as customer service delays and communication inconveniences. As such, the salon was in great need of a new marketing strategy and website revision.

Technical Assistance Solution or Strategy

TLE’s main objective was to establish a digital marketing strategy and a social media plan and develop a website build. The project included doing an online presence audit to assess the current performance of the salon digitally, garner and create templates and sample content for social media use, and update the website according to the rebranding agreed upon.

Service Impact

Through our Digital Optimization Program and MGCC’s Empower Digital Grant, the owner received technical support to revive her website and execute a marketing strategy for pivoting her business in the aftermath of the pandemic. The said website is now up and running which led to increased customer satisfaction; engagement both online and offline and a steady increase in revenue.
